Youth empowerment, sustainable livelihoods and climate-smart cassava farming with Smart Youth Organisation.
With Smart Youth Organisation, ACRG has mobilised and trained 55 youth and women in improved cassava cultivation and engaged 8 farmer groups on post-harvest handling and processing. The next phase will introduce climate-smart processing, pilot local processing hubs (gari, starch, flour and animal feed) and train more young people across other districts.
